Berlin Heart EXCOR® Ventricular Assist Device supports the pumping function of a failing heart. This life-saving device is featuring the CARMEDA® BioActive Surface.

When Vincent was 6 years old, his heart began to fail. While he waited for a suitable donor heart, the Berlin Heart EXCOR® Ventricular Assist Device supported the pumping function of his heart. An innovative treatment that provided him enough time to finally receive the “perfect” heart that saved his life. Now Vincent is 20 years old and area transplant recipient is celebrating the transplant that saved the life of this boy more than a decade ago. Watch the video with Vincent from Today's TMJ4.
